Rising Stars is an opportunity for young dancers to explore Competition Team with limited commitment, giving families a fun introduction to the world of dance competitions!
Rising Stars will attend one Regional Competition and perform in recital!
EDA 2.0 Company Competition TEAM
Ages 6-18
Our Company Competition Team features Mini, Petite, Junior, Teen, and Senior teams. Teams are divided by age and ability. Dancers will train in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, technique, conditioning, and tumbling.
Company will attend one Convention, 2-3 Regional Competitions, one Nationals, and perform in Recital.

• Audition is free!
• A parent info meeting will be held on Friday, May 1 at 6pm for those interested.
• Please arrive early to auditions stretch and prepare.
• Dancers should wear all black, well fitting active wear to auditions.
• At auditions dancers will perform learned choreography in groups and show select skills to our coaches.
• Returning Competition Team members must audition choreography in groups and individually to be considered for a solo.
• Bring water and dance shoes with you to auditions.
• Hair should be pulled back and out of the face.
• Once auditions have completed, if you are offered a spot on the team, it is a 10-11 month commitment.
• Auditions are the only time EDA 2.0 will place by age.
• Teams will be based on skill level and experience.
• We will notify you as soon as possible after auditions if you have been accepted!
• Summer Session for Competition Team will be June 22 - August 7. More information will be distributed on acceptance.
• Season 6 begins August 11!
